Sylhet , commencing on March 4. - One-Day International Series (March 13-18): Chittagong will host three one-day matches starting from March 13, providing fans with an exciting encounter between the two teams.
- Test Series (March 22-31): The two-Test series will be split between Sylhet and Chittagong, with the first Test scheduled from March 22 in Sylhet and the second Test set to begin in Chittagong from March 30.
This series holds significance for Bangladesh, especially in the Test format, as they aim to secure their first-ever Test victory against Sri Lanka on home soil.
Additionally, Bangladesh will be eager to continue their momentum from the previous home ODI series against Sri Lanka in 2021, where they emerged victorious.
