NEW DELHI: The stage is set for the Ranji Trophy semifinals as Mumbai gear up to face Tamil Nadu at the BKC Ground in Mumbai, while Vidarbha prepare to host Madhya Pradesh at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur.
The highly anticipated matches are scheduled to commence on Saturday, promising an intense battle between the top teams in the premier domestic tournament.
Vidarbha secured their spot in the semifinals with a commanding 127-run victory over Karnataka, showcasing their prowess on the field.They will now face Madhya Pradesh, led by coach Chandrakant Pandit, who brings a wealth of experience, having previously guided Vidarbha to consecutive titles in 2017-18 and 2018-19.

Madhya Pradesh advanced to the semifinals following a hard-fought four-run triumph over Andhra in the quarterfinals, setting the stage for an intriguing clash in Nagpur.
Meanwhile, Mumbai enter the semifinals riding high on the momentum from a historic match, where Tanush Kotian and Tushar Deshpande made headlines by becoming the first pair since 1946 to score centuries batting at number 10 and 11 respectively.
The 41-time champions secured their place in the last four stage by virtue of a first-innings lead against Baroda. Their upcoming challenge awaits in the form of Tamil Nadu, who eliminated defending champions Saurashtra in the quarterfinals with a dominant performance, led by R Sai Kishore’s impressive match haul of 9 for 93.
