The match also witnessed skipper Rohit Sharma ending his run of consecutive ducks by delivering a dazzling century, scoring an unbeaten 121 off 69 balls. His outstanding knock propelled India beyond the 200-run mark.
Meanwhile, Kohli faced disappointment as he was dismissed for a golden duck.
Rohit also hit two sixes in the first ‘Super Over’, which played a crucial role in India levelling the scores and force the game into a second ‘Super Over,’ which ultimately resulted in a victory for the hosts.
